Hoobastank

Just got back from a FREE Hoobastank concert with Gabriel. The performance was awesome and the venue was very cosy with 450 people squeezed inside a restaurant basement. If this were Singapore, I reckon you would have to pay quite a bit for this good "seats"!

I also learnt a couple of things from this experience:

1) "The Reason" is far from being a representative Hoobastank song
2) The lead singer is Asian (half Scottish, half Japanese)
3) Do not join a mosh pit while wearing glasses
4) Do not bring along a large jacket, even if you have to freeze your butt off on the way to the venue and back.
5) Consider earplugs to avoid long term hearing damage while standing next to gargantuan speakers
6) Old people (over 60 yrs old) go for rock concerts too (although they were not too happy about the moshing)
