On Thursday, Adriel (Loh) introduced me to this series of ads produced by Malaysian director, Yasmin Ahmad. The ads were produced for Petronas and have won several awards internationally. "Tan Hong Ming" won a Gold Andy for Film Direction and another Gold for Public Service Advertising. "Race" won a Bronze.
Recently, MCYS hired her to shoot an ad for Singapore as well. I've attached the Chinese version coz the English script is just kind've weird. Personally, I think the Petronas ads are much more impactful. Somehow the Singapore ad seems a little draggy.
